Derek has worked with Lucas arts Epic Games Mark Rein-Hagan the creator of vampire the masquerade War Hammer and many other projects. He lives in North Carolina with his wife and SIX girls.

Derek's most recent venture centers around SCEPTER: Code Black, in collaboration with The Shepherds Studios, serving as the primary visual artist for the book.
